A unique journey to the Egypt of the Pharaohs

Day breaks over the Giza necropolis, the famous Egyptian site that houses the pyramids of Khufu, Khephren and Menkaure.

In this Immersive Expedition, explore the largest and oldest pyramid on the Giza Plateau: Khufu. Accompanied by friends and family, you'll discover areas previously closed to the public. Then it's on to magical territory, with an emotional foray into the heart of Egyptian culture.

The Pyramids of Gizeh

A visit like no other

You'll venture off the traditional paths to discover new corridors and spaces, such as the Queen's Chamber.
An effortless ascent of the pyramid provides a breathtaking view of the Giza Plateau, from where you can observe the mastabas: the tombs of those who were close to the deceased monarchs.

Aboard a solar barque, you'll travel 2,500 years BC to observe an embalming ceremony, sail on the Nile and attend the funeral of King Khufu, who lies at the heart of the Great Pyramid.
But don't worry, you won't be alone as you explore these ancient lands: you'll be accompanied by Mona, your guide, and a mysterious character...

An experience informed by recent scientific discoveries about the pyramid of Khufu

Horizon of Khufu is the result of an 18-month collaboration with Peter Der Manuelian, Egyptologist at Harvard University.

Designed to be as accurate as possible, this immersive expedition is the result of several years of research and data gathered on site, in partnership with Peter Der Manuelian, professor of Egyptology specializing in the study of funerary architecture, particularly the Giza necropolis, and his team from the Giza Project at Harvard University.

The immersive expeditions aim to ensure that all the information provided in the experience is based on verified architectural, scientific and historical data.

28
virtual reality and 3D animation professionals took part in the project, including 20 Excurio interns

« Horizon of Khufu is an extraordinary immersive experience that immerses you in the grandeur of the Giza site. This virtual journey opens doors to places that are not usually accessible, either geographically or historically. »
